XM2's Global Quest - Filming Across Three Continents

The XM2 team followed John Wick on his global endeavor filming action-packed sequences in Berlin, Jordan, and New York. Keanu Reeves returns to the action as the infamous Baba Yaga on a quest around the globe to defeat The High Table in John Wick: Chapter 4.

The XM2 team followed John Wick on his global endeavor filming action-packed sequences in Berlin, Jordan, and New York. Keanu Reeves returns to the action as the infamous Baba Yaga on a quest around the globe to defeat The High Table in John Wick: Chapter 4.

Our team worked closely on main unit with Director, Chad Stahelski and Director of Photographer, Dan Laustsen as well as Second Unit Director, Scott Rogers.

XM2’s heavy lift drone was the primary camera for the car chase portion of the sequence filmed in Berlin. The XM2 Tango aircraft enabled the Director’s need for speed during the complex choreographed driving sequence.

The action doesn’t stop as our team travelled to Wadi Rum, Jordan to capture the opening scene of John Wick on horseback in the desert. The drone utilized the ARRI Mini LF with ARRI Signature Prime lenses to capture the beauty of these distant locations.

Additionally, XM2 captured Keanu Reeves up-close during the horseback chase sequence with Delta.  XM2 also provided helicopter aerials of New York. This epic project took our XM2 crew from three offices to three different continents, shooting the legend himself Keanu Reeves with drones, helicopters, and handheld rigs.
